Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 9:23
As believers we are instructed to believe.
Matthew 19:26
But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
John 5:1-9
Jesus travelled past Bethsaida and met people with different infirmities who were waiting for the angel of the Lord to stir the water.
An angel was assigned to stir up the water which becomes a pool of healing, and anyone who steps into the pool will be healed. The stirring of the water was a supernatural intervention. It takes faith for someone to jump into the water. Since the person has come to understand that God has made it so that the pool will be stirred up by an angel, and once he comes into it there will be healing.
At the instance of supernatural intervention, comes competition. Even though God had made the provision for that intervention, some people could not access it. People had come for 38 years and only 38 people were healed. The lame man could not compete with anyone by the pool because there was no way he could get in by himself. They were all limited.
But Jesus showed up there and was not bound by the arrangement. Sometimes when there is supposed to be a miracle, life comes with competition. That is how the world was designed. Even from the womb, life is designed around competitions. Life seems hard because of competition.
Jesus showed up and was not bound by the arrangement. Because even the arrangement was limited. Men and women who do not have what it takes to compete with their equals get frustrated. But we serve a God who is not bound by the arrangement of the world.
He is a barrier breaker. That arrangement had been in place for long and people had put their faith in it; however, only one person gets healed and every other person gets stranded till the next year.
From that scripture, we were made to understand that even when there is an arrangement in place that looks like a supernatural intervention, we have a God that is boundless.
That man could not be he healed because there was an arrangement in place and he was limited by it. That is the same story for many people. But there is a God, who is boundless. He has no limitation or restriction. For with him all things are possible.
If it is God you have come to know, know him as a boundless God. A boundless faith in a boundless God, produces supernatural intervention. A faith that is unwavering, a faith that has no thoughts on the word “impossibility”.
.
A faith that is unwavering. A man that has come to a place that is removing impossibility from its dictionary.
Matthew 19:26
But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (KJV).
Until we come to a point in our lives today where we get to know that if it is about God we will know that God can do it.
As far as God is concerned God can do it. God can do everything. We must not be bound to principles of life and government. The principle of life though may work but we must not be restricted to the point where we are boxing God.
The principle of life works for every one because they are fundamental and universal. This is why we must be financially prudent as it is universal.
However, the believer is not restricted and bound by them. To become who God has ordained us to be we must not be bound to saving but in the power of God.
We must practise the principle. However, we must not be bound to the fundamental things that God still requires of us to walk with Him in those things. This may come in the form of our savings where we may be told by God to give all that we have saved.
Many believers have shot themselves in the leg by restricting God only to their savings. They are not progressing and advancing in life because they have boxed God in embracing them.
God is boundless. There is a boundless faith. Even if we have known a pattern in walking with Him we must not stop there.
John 5:7-8 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another stepped down before me.
Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
If we don’t understand we may be waiting for the stir of the water while the water is standing before us.
Some people have missed supernatural intervention because they do not understand that God cannot be tied.
In spite of the past instructions we have heard from Him and obeyed , we must not be bound to the past ones because He cannot be tied in a place. This is because we must keep following Him.
We must not miss out on the supernatural because it does not look spectacular.
It may not come from the sound and the fire. It does not come with sound and thunder. God still works in mysterious ways. His ways are higher.
Isaiah 55:9
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
If we do that we will miss out on the supernatural. Many have missed out on the supernatural because they want to obey principle. God’s supernatural intervention may come by His interruption.
We should not delay our journey too long. We worry too much. We are too structured for God. We are too arranged for God. We should not be systemic for God’s intervention.
Even when He is trying to interrupt we are not seeing Him. How would we have thought that the man would recognize Jesus?
He must have heard and knew what He was waiting for. He has seen the men entering into the water and getting healed.
To the man who Jesus walked up to, it was something he was not familiar with. Yet, he got healed.
We are too structured! Let’s allow God and create room for the supernatural. Permit God and allow him to step into the affairs of your life. Do not rely so much on your wisdom. It didn’t make so much sense when Abraham took Isaac to the mountain to be sacrificed.
Sometimes God’s instructions come in a way that seems senseless. Scriptures say “his foolishness is wiser than the wisdom of men.” Stay foolish and senseless with God.The lame man by the pool of Bethesda believed so much in the stirring of the water that he didn’t recognize the supernatural when Jesus showed up. Let’s live life well and believe there is nothing God cannot do. He is not limited to our plans, finances, and forecasting. This is not a call to live recklessly, but to leave room for the supernatural.
Many people don’t expect miracles, they only expect a salary. It’s a bad way to live life.
Let’s live this life well..
God is a boundless God; He’s not limited to neither our savings nor our bank statements hence; as you plan and strategize you should also endeavor to create and leave room for the supernatural; Do not limit God.
While diligently working on the needful, be intentional about creating room for the supernatural in your life.
You need to come to the full understanding of the dynamics of what it means to call God omnipresent. It means He is present at all times in all places. He is ever present.
He is infinite; the God with no end.
Understanding these dynamics will help you in your capacity in asking and talking to God.
So when you’re asking or talking to God you are doing this in the view of the fact that he is boundless.
You are doing this with the understanding that He is omniscient.
Hence, you are saying science is not a limitation to God; cause can do exceedingly abundantly more than you can ask or think.
If we understand all of this well, it should help us in our capacity in asking and talking to the Lord.
Pastor further explained that the Boldless faith speaks in view of God’s capacity and not man capacity. Boldless faith does not consider the deadness of Sarah’s womb and body. Boldless faith doesn’t ask how to cross the red sea, he said “Go”.
Boundless faith is speaking in the view of the capacity of God. So as we are praying and trusting God, we are actually asking in the view that God is omnipresent. We are asking with the understanding that God is omniscience and also omnipotent. We are not against science but we should have an understanding that science is not a limitation to God.
Pastor added that we shouldn’t limit ourselves to the principle that is working for us. That it is working is not enough to bank God with it. God can do exceedingly abundantly more than you can ask, think or imagine according to the power that works in us.
Don’t be reckless or careless. That is why we should grow in the things of God and the training of the spirit to know when God is talking to us and when a man is cajoling us. That is why we should grow constantly. Our growth is our responsibility.
Finally, we were encouraged to learn to work with God, grow up in such a way that you can’t be cajoled. If God has not led you or instructed you, sit down.Train your spirit. Start from small experiences and little instructions follow them because it has a way of building you into the way God is taking you to. In all, as we walk in the patterns and principles that work, Please leave enough space for God. Even if you have done everything you have to do, please wait on God. Create a room for God.
In conclusion, don’t be too calculative, don’t be too structured for God. Create a room for God in your structure. Allow God to scatter your plans.
