I Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Pray though that we will do a lot of praying this month. And as we pray through, there will be unlimited breakthroughs.
Rejoicing is done intentionally. Rejoicing is not a function of the goodies or the testimonies that has happened. It is an instruction.
No matter what the devil has thrown at us this year and we have not been able to achieve anything this year, the instruction from the scripture is that we rejoice always.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 NKJV “Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.”
The word “Yet” in that scripture is very instructive because that is the revelation in that scripture. In other words, things may not be working out, yet we will rejoice. Rejoicing is a command, instruction.
The devil cannot own the narrative/story of our life, we will be the one to tell the story of our life in God. The devil expects us not to rejoice because there is no reason to rejoice but we have a superior understanding/sense to beat the devil hands down even when it seems things are not working.
We have had a better understanding even before the beginning of this year that 2024 “was” a good year.

We must learn how to speak correctly. Our words create our world. The best time to talk correctly is when things are not working. Yet we should rejoice in this. We rejoice when there is no cattle in the stock.
We cannot breakthrough if we do not understand the concept of rejoicing evermore.
Paul emphasizes on rejoicing in his letter. We must rejoice. We must understand when to rejoice even when things are not working. This is because if we do not do that there will be a shut down in our Spirit. Our boldness may even be affected as well.
Habbakuk 3:18-19
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation
19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments
We must rejoice. These are the three pillars. The Bible says rejoice always, pray always and give thanks always.
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord and will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
We must rejoice in embracing the truth of God’s word in the face of tribulation. The Lord will set us on high places in doing this. The devil wants us to be sorrowful. The devil wants us to be discouraged and does not want us to understand the principle of thanksgiving, so that we would shut down and we become discouraged.
In doing what he wants we will not see the possibility of God. The things that look as if it is not possible before, God strengthens us in us and we come out strong with testimonies.
In this month we are rejoicing, giving thanks and praying so that regardless of what the devil is saying we choose to do these three.
This is why it is a choice. We would choose to rejoice in the Lord and with a victorious shout.
There is no abandoned project in God. There is a grace to start there is also a grace to finish. What He has started, He will finish.
We must find a reason to praise God. It is our decision, the devil cannot change the narratives.
The devil will come to you and show you a report card of how 2024 looked like, but choose to rejoice. Make it a decision to rejoice. Let the devil know he cannot determine your joy, that you will hold on to his words and promises.
Choose to rejoice amidst the circumstances.
Paul admonished us in Philippians 4:4 to rejoice. There is a difference between rejoicing and thanksgiving. You thank God for what he has done but you rejoice regardless of whatever the situation might be. We thank God for what he has done, but we rejoice regardless.
Let joy overflow because you are united with the anointed one.
Be cheerful in every season of life. Let there be joyous celebration. Whether there is plenty or little, we thank God, but we rejoice regardless. It makes the devil mad. The devil makes you see the mountains and not allow you to see the God that can move mountains.
Rejoice over doors that opened for you and the ones that did not open.
