BIRTHING DIVINE DIRECTION

Psalms 32:8-9 NKJV “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.

This scripture tells us that there is a way God expects us as believers to go because our life is not subjected to chances or guess work. God is committed to us and he is very deliberate about it.

1 Corinthians 2:9-16, Romans 8:26-27, Isaiah 30:20-21.

In Isaiah 30: 21-22, the only way you will be able to hear the voice or word behind you saying “This is the way, walk in it” will be that you have a relationship with your teacher (the Holy ghost).

What this means is that you cannot miss out on what the lord will have you do per time, if your eyes are on your teacher. The outcome of a man that has a working relationship with the lord is that per time he will hear.

We have the holy ghost as our teacher and because we have him as our teacher, we can hear, we are connected to him, he leads us, he guides us. The eyes of the lord is upon us, we are being instructed, he is our tour guide and we are not expected to miss our way because we will always hear a word behind us saying “This is the way, walk in it”

This connotes that constantly, the holy ghost is speaking. So there is no day a believer should be out of touch or alignment with what the lord will have him do per time.

Divine direction should be the order of our life, it should be a strong heritage for a believer. There should not be a time we miss out on what God wants to do per time. Missing out on what God wants to do per time is very risky. Missing out on a step God wants you to take can take you years to recover from a single error. For some people, it is a lifetime trouble, for some it might take years or months to recover from that one step they did not take right. And sometimes, it will even take the mercy of God to find your way back to the right path. With this Believers should not take for granted the place of the Holy Ghost and the place of divine instruction and divine direction. On this journey of life, he is our tour guide. He will help us to navigate. He brings light and direction on our path. He is our compass. Divine direction helps us to align properly with different seasons of our life. Life is in seasons and moments. If a man misses certain moments where it’s required for him to find direction in life, it may lead to a season of life that he has missed. It may take a while to recover from a season.

Apart from salvation one of the areas where a believer is supposed to depend on God is divine direction and this cuts across different areas of our lives. One decision can keep a man struggling for years. As far as God is concerned he is committed to divine direction for his children. He knows, he sees. He knows the best for us. We have come to a place where we can trust him. We have confidence in him and we are persuaded that he can help us. Sometimes his wisdom may look like foolishness, but turns out to be the best decision any man can take.

So don’t make it difficult for him, don’t be stubborn, what this means is that some people struggle with God when it comes to a time to actually be led and directed, especially vital decisions of our lives.

Some recover, some don’t recover till eternity. I beseech us that even as the year is running to an end, we should take our time to ask God for divine direction.

God is more interested in directing you than you desiring direction. He is more interested in you getting it right, than you getting it right. Don’t gamble with your life. You don’t have plenty of options, you only have an option, which is the way God will expect you to go.

We need to come to a resolution to only go God’s way. You can be on the spot trying to make a decision for 1-3yrs, it’s not something you should bother yourself about because it’s better you get it right and be on the right path than running aimlessly. Sometimes speed is not an evidence of success, but accuracy.

Stay with God. Stay in the place of prayer. The Holy Ghost helps us to pray according to the will of God. He interceeds for us. Our access code is the spirit of God and you have the spirit of God. The spirit searcheth all things. So a believer should not be ignorant of what God is doing. There is the spirit upon and spirit within. In the old testament they operated with the spirit upon.

Psalms 32:8-9

‎That we might know the things that are freely given to us by God. We are not ignorant of the will of God. We are not guessing. We have a knowing spirit.‎It is the Holy Ghost that teaches us, as he guides  and leads.

‎A natural man has limitations. This is because they are spiritually discerned. This is because he that is spiritual judges all things. So we must get to the point that we have to get the mind of God about things .

‎If we have gambled with 2025 we cannot gamble with 2026. ‎This means there is a possibility to know the mind of God. ‎How we have the mind of God is because we have the Spirit of God in us.

Romans 8:26-27  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

The word, “‎Infirmities”, in this context does not mean sickness but rather human limitation. ‎One of the limitations when we pray in our human nature is that we do not know what we should ask for.

‎Sometimes, we pray because of money, meanwhile it should not be because of money. Sometimes, we are myopic, and we miss out on divine arrangement.

‎Sometimes God will arrange someone that will orchestrate the need to be met. ‎What the Holy Ghost does is that He searches out. He has the means to satisfy the need. One way to do this is that we must come to that place of prayer. ‎You allow the Holy Ghost to take over your faculty. The Holy Ghost is the one that arranges things.

‎The Holy Ghost intercedes on our behalf. He does not search outside the will of God. The Holy Ghost will not bring us to backwardness and stagnation. ‎He does not mismatch. All we need to do is to hang in there which may look foolish, and in doing so He will make beautiful things out of us.

‎Our mind is limited. Our connection, knowledge and reasoning are limited. We should not be smart around God. We must follow what looks foolish in God’s leading such that we are on the right course and in the will of God. We can get this in the place of prayer so in order for us to be in the will of God. We should pray that we align in such will to allow the Holy Ghost to superimpose on us. ‎We can pray that the Lord should scatter our plans so that we can see His own plans clearly.

When we don’t find transport to Nineveh and the things we arrange ourselves do not work. We should begin to prepare our minds that our plans get scattered in lieu of His own plan. May God show us his mercy by letting us and our plans be rejected and unsuccessful so that we may be intact in his will.

‎When it is your will, God cannot sponsor what He did not command. God cannot be forced to sponsor what he did not initiate. What most of us come to do in the place of prayer is that many of our plans are what we share. We didn’t come for him to breathe his will.

Scripture tells us that how do we begin in the flesh and want to finish it in the spirit. (Galatians 3:3)

We should trust God to help our hearts and that we be in alignment with him. We should be aware of the fact that God is much more committed to guiding and leading us than we desire. God does not like it that you have engaged your resources, invested your effort, then you come to him to perfect  his will. Many still walk with the notion that when things we planned on our own will begin to go soar than we expected, it is God that is involved, that is not so.

We are assassinating his character that way. For instance, many believe that when God calls them and they do not respond, any loss that comes afterwards is a punishment for that disobedience. Which is not so. We don’t have to sustain an injury first before we begin to say we are looking for God and want to serve him better. We shouldn’t hang our lives and say we are looking  for money first before we come back to look for God. You can do it all together. Don’t say you want everything to be settled first before you come and serve God. You can’t get there and say you will come back, many have gone that path and didn’t return. There will always be more to go for.  Maximum satisfaction does not come that way. Our satisfaction is in Christ. It is better you serve God and you allow everything to grow together. Don’t leave one for the other. What is the use of money when you have lost out on alignment with God.

Whatever you do with money ends here on earth. As you pursue any form of growth, serve God. You don’t have an excuse not to serve God. We can do all things in Christ that strengthens us.  You should know what God is doing when you stay in the place of Prayer. He will always speak to you if you ask travailing.
