Birthing Victory can involve victory over sin, sickness and over the work of darkness. As a believer we are to overcome these things. And we have the understanding that Christ has given us victory over them.
1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
God has given us victory always, not seldomly so we are sure of victory over sin, sickness and over the works of darkness.
2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”
We fight from the victory side, not the lossing side because we have triumph in Christ. Christ has won it all for us on the cross.
We will be focusing on Victory over sickness. We know that healing is the will of God for his children. And the same way we believe that we are saved should be the same way we should believe that we are healed.
Healing is the will and purpose of God for his children and he heals all manner of sickness, diseases and infirmities.
God calls himself Jehovah Rapha; The God that healeth. Exodus 15:26.
It is impossible for God to lie. His word says that, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.”
1 Peter 2:24 reveals that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed. The same way we confess our salvation is the same way we should confess our healing in Christ. Jesus was beaten 39 times and Scientists have proven that there are about 39 different sicknesses in existence, this means that Jesus took the strokes for each of the sicknesses and that is why sickness should not be allowed to reign in your body.
You need to see healing and walk in it. If you can’t see it, you can’t walk in it. Unbelief is what is separating us from our miracle. One of the saddest scriptures is found in Matthew 13:58 and Mark 5:6, because it revealed that Jesus was limited in performing miracles in Nazareth because of their unbelief. Always confess your healing despite the symptoms. Unbelief is a cankerworm.
We should believe God for what he is saying. What you believe and confess is what you become. Isaiah 53:4-5 reveals that by his stripes we are healed. Jesus bore every sickness that was supposed to plague us and that’s why we should enforce that victory in the place of prayer.
Five (5) facts about healing:
1) Healing is God’s redemption plan for us. 1 Peter 2:24. The life of Christ has the capacity to slow down the aging process of a man. In the olden days we had prophecy but in our days we have fulfilment.
We are partakers of the healing of God. Jesus is moved by compassion. It is part of the redemption plan of God. It is the will of God.
Disease and sickness are not all from God. They are not the plan and will of God.
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Disease is an oppression from the devil. Infirmity is an oppression from the devil. The believers should stand against such a trend. We should not say, that is how it happens in our family. We have a better lineage. We have the blood of Christ’s family. We must stand on our feet. When it gets to us we must ensure it stops before us. We must stand on our feet and face the enemy. We must stand against the oppression of the devil.
We are not under oppression, we are under the power of the Holy Ghost.
Luke 13:11-13 And, behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
All these infirmities are not from God.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The thief does not come except to kill, steal and to destroy. When we see symptoms, then, the thief is around us and we must shout. This is similar to the prayer we must make when we sense the devil approaching or working.
John said Christ has abundant life.
God provided for healing both in old and new testaments.
Exodus 23:25-26 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
When we serve God our butter and bread will be blessed. One of the antidotes of sickness is serving the Lord.
Deuteronomy 7:14-15 Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.
And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
The Lord will take all our afflictions. Terrible sickness is not the will of God.
Ephesians 1:3
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
2. Healing is the blessing of God.We are blessed by the Lord.
Mark 16:15-18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
The word recover may not be instantly. It may be gradually. The healing may undergo process.
3. Healing is the will of God for us. We can minister healing to people and others. This we should do by enforcing the power of Jesus over our lives.
No matter the name of the disease. We are healed by His stripe.
4. Furthermore, healing is for the children of God.
Matthew 16:3-4 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ysigne not discern the signs of the times?
A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed
5. Lastly, healing is the promise of God for us.
Mark 11:23-24 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
If you believe you are healed, the Bible says you will have it. Whatever you say, believe that you will have it. Confess your prayer. When we pray we should not doubt. Our confession should be consistent with what we are praying and hoping for.
Confession alone is a prayer. As we confess we are saying the change forth. Mark 9:23 If we can believe; healing is possible. What you believe is what you become. God cannot lie. He has made provisions for us. We should walk in it.
Healing is the will and plan of God for us. It would only manifest if we believe it.
Just as darkness and light can’t co- habit so can’t sickness stay in our bodies because of the power in-dwelling.
We need to exercise this power in prayer. If a man doesn’t know what he has in Christ concerning his healing, he can’t maximize it.
Matthew 8:1-34 highlights the diverse healings Jesus performed. It becomes obvious that, healing was a priority for him.
