Isaiah 66:7-9 KJV
“Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.”
The focus of travailing is to bring forth. In travailing, men give birth to possibilities and purposes. And anytime men engage in travailing, what should come out of it is something tangible.
Luke 1:37-45
This scripture is saying that the possibilities of God was in the air at that time and the next statement after that was in Verse 38 when Mary said “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. The Angel did not leave Mary, until she actually received the word. And receiving of the word for Mary was the conception of that which the lord has purposed to bring forth through Mary. It was at the time when Mary said let it be unto me according to thy word that she conceived.
The Angel of the lord was able to depart from Mary when she received the word of God because the word of the lord will not return to him void. What Mary got pregnant of was not just a child, it was the purpose and agenda of God. God has a purpose and intention, he needed a vessel to carry out that which he wanted to do and the vessel has finally allowed the word of God to prevail over her, and she has agreed to align to the plan and intentions of God and her spirit got opened. From that point, the purpose of God was conceived.
It wasn’t just Jesus that Mary got conceived of, she also conceived the agenda and plan of God.
At one point or the other in your life, if God can find you available and open, there will be a perfection of his plan and will. At every point in our life, we should be pregnant with the plan and purpose of God. We should be in a place where God can actually deposit his plans and agenda. We should be a vessel that is constantly ready to receive a deposit of his plan and purpose, carrying the capabilities of God.
The Bible revealed to us that when they travailed they brought forth. God will bring you to a place where you will receive the seed and also bring you to a place where you will travail. It is the place of travailing that gives birth the the purposes of God.
The idea of conception cannot be complete without delivery, and there will not be delivery without travailing. God is looking for vessels, but not everyone is in alignment with God’s plan. It was when Mary agreed to the word of the Angel and believed the word, that was when she received her breakthrough and the conception took place. God depends on us to carry out his plans and purposes, not Angels nor Spirits, but he needs a vessel that is willing and ready.
Travailing is for people who are pregnant of the plans and purpose of God. If you are such a woman or man that believes that they carry something mighty on their inside, then you are welcome on board. We are in a season of giving birth to God’s possibilities and purpose. God has been depositing things in us and he has brought us to a place of travailing, where we can give birth to his purposes. Anywhere you read of travail in the Bible, the accompanying word is usually, “brought forth.”
Psalm 40:7, Hebrews 10:7
He was delivered. The man talks about the plan of God. The redemption of man.
In verse 8 the scriptures say, “As soon as Zion travails, she brought forth her children…”
There are things God has ordained concerning me. Jesus said, I have come in the volumes of books for the plan and purpose of God. In everything we do, the plan of God must prevail in our lives. The will of God must prevail. We must give birth to the possibilities of God. We will bring forth the plan and purposes of God. What is the agenda of God? Everything God wants to do in a generation, He must do through a man. If it comes through a man, He will plant that seed of purpose in that man. A man can carry that seed for years without bringing it to fruition. There is a possibility for a man to carry out such plans and possibilities of God without knowing.
There is a common factor that makes a man carry such seed ; and that is THE DISSATISFACTION. Others may not be seeing the need to change. There is a level of discomfort in such a man’s heart. This brings a drawing towards such a purpose. Moses was a typical example of this. There was a level of dissatisfaction he showed. He felt one way to save his people was to kill every Egyptian that terrorized his people so that they would all escape.
Whereas, Exodus was the plan of God. Exodus was the agenda of God. It is not one by one. It is Exodus. His idea was personal but what God was looking for was mass. What Moses caught in this was dissatisfaction. What he was looking for was for the people of God to be delivered. His idea was limited. We must always know the plan of God, so that we would give birth to God’s plan and not our own plan. Moses’ concept of ministry was one by one saving the Israelites from the Egyptian hands. One by one is not God’s plan but Moses’s.
After the dissatisfaction comes THE DRAWING. He was drawn to His people. He thought killing the Egyptians one by one is God’s plan. What God was pointing to Moses is to be drawn to His will which is similar to how a man is intimate with his wife.
He was drawn into the call of God. There must be a level of dissatisfaction we must get to in all aspects of our life. When we are drawn to his purpose He will bring us to a place that with time we become in tune with his ultimate plan..
Secondly, when a man filled with the purpose of God will ultimately believe in the possibility of God’s power such that he would know that without Him such plans cannot be brought to pass. In this phase God begins to show His intention. He gives us the specifics. There is a place of formation, growth and maturity of the seed by being intimate with the Lord. This is in an analogy to a woman’s delivery of a baby. Every part of her body will feel it. This point brings us to THE EXPECTATION and realization for the seed to be brought to fruition. This is a time where one knows that there is a season upon oneself. All of that is preparing you for a season. Travailing comes with pain. After the delivery, you tend to forget all your sorrows and pain. That travailing season does not last forever. After the delivery of the child, joy is reinstated. Before we get to the point of travailing, there are seasons and moments as well as dealings. That God is putting a burden or idea in your heart doesn’t mean you should run immediately or birth the idea. There is a place of travailing. It can take years, months or days. It all depends on what God wants to do through you.
There is a place to wait and holding on. A point where you believe God for strength to contain all he has placed on your inside. A place for supplication. A place where you are trusting God to deliver what he has placed on your inside. If you bring to birth too early, you will have your result prematurely. There is a need to understand season. To understand the agenda of God in your life. It is important not to compare notes with people. Your requirement for growth is different in comparison to others.
God has plans. Don’t assume that you know. Don’t run with one by one ministry. Wait for the exodus agenda of God. The only thing you cannot afford to miss out on is the agenda of God. It is possible for a person to live so long and may not come close to the agenda of God. And that is not God’s ultimate agenda. A whole nation came into the plan and purpose of God due to the fact that Moses embraced the Exodus agenda.
We need to understand that God’s agenda requires clarity before you run with it. Such that there will be a clear execution and a better understanding of the seasons God brings you into. It will help you understand his purpose and possibilities. All you need is to walk with Gid because he is looking for vessels. Let him find you a vessel he can pour his idea. He is still looking for vessels.
DELIVERING: Men will deliver the plan and the purpose of God, we will get to the point where we give birth to the plan and purposes of God.
